Local ties Marlene Mira is a
third-generation Kauai native with local ties throughout
the Hawaiian Islands. Marlene ventured into the event
planning business after many years of “people services”
in government contracting and
airlines. This, combined with her appreciation and love
of Hawaii’s culture and people, led her to helping
others make their dreams and vision come true in Hawaii.

A creative, proactive professional with a flair for
things unconventional, Marlene defines key elements of
an event, considering the look, the touch, the sound,
the scent and the taste. With an infusion of warmth and
friendliness, Marlene is an individual who genuinely
cares for people. She welcomes clients with spirited
passion and is delighted to share her island home for

to personal island explorations with Marlene because
that’s what she enjoys most about her work – creating

Experience
A former Senior Director in Human Resources for a
regional airline, she has extensive experience in
developing and managing employee programs, staffing, and
as a corporate trainer. Her talent for cultivating
client relationships, managing people and projects and
three years' catering and event planning experience paved
the
path to
