"I am an event planner by profession, so I had specific expectations about planning and execution. Marlene is a true partner. She truly cared about us and genuinely desired to create a very special experience for us and our guests. She was thoughtful and always went above and beyond.

One example of her partnership involved our wedding venue, which had never before accommodated a large group of our size (70 people). We did not see the wedding venue in person, but we decided to secure it because Marlene helped us visualize the space with photos and a hand-drawn floor plan. She personally measured the space and then sketched it. This really helped us feel confident about the venue space and also confirmed that Marlene was the right partner to create our very special day.

She took on this challenge with enthusiasm and confidence. We had the ceremony and reception in the same place. This meant we had to move our guests to the beach for a cocktail party while Marlene flipped the space. She managed the tear-down of the ceremony and set-up the dinner reception tables -- including flowers, customized seating cards, table assignments, and menus -- the dance floor and DJ, and the bar in a relatively short period of time. It worked out perfectly!

Marlene did a fabulous job. She thoughtfully planned the details and many logistical implications, and then ensured she had the staff to execute. These are just a couple examples of Marlene's true partnership and willingness to go the extra mile to create a perfect wedding."
