I found Marlene after reading a review that read “I was able to show up and just be the bride on my wedding day”. After seeing many other weddings I’ve been in go horribly awry, I knew the caliber of wedding coordinator we needed. Planning a wedding (and having it come off well) is a SUPER challenge; I knew we needed someone who knew local vendors, would advocate for lower prices, be extremely creative, and had a positive attitude. Let’s just say–we had extremely high expectations.
Marlene blew our expectations out of the water, attending to our every need, keeping us on schedule, and very importantly helped to keep my stress levels under control. Marlene was ALWAYS available by phone or email to answer ANY question I had, large or small…from vendor information all the way down to when the candles would be lit. I had NO doubt or worry she had everything under control, and in the days leading up to the wedding, that was INVALUABLE.
I pride myself on my organizational skills, and knew I would be disappointed if I, in the end, felt like I could have done as good a job as the coordinator we hired. Well, I couldn’t have…not even close. Marlene is so capable, motivated, good natured, and so easy to work with ! She was wonderful at keeping our immense family drama to a dull roar, instinctively knowing how to keep everyone happy at once.
Marlene truly delivered our dream wedding. We dreamt up the details, and she made it happen…beautifully and with ease. Marlene also added to our decor with out asking for additional money….adding touches like envelope boxes, seaside candles and decor to round out our event, making it the gorgeous day it was!! We couldn’t be happier with Marlene, and truly consider her a friend and confidant. Who other than a friend would go to SUCH lengths to be sure our days was perfect? You can pay anyone to help you organize your wedding, but it’s the special touches that Marlene brought with her winning personality, local knowledge and artistry that separates her from the pack!
Even after our event was over, she continued to work hard to be sure we were happy. There were decor items i felt sure i would never see again (pillows, candles, card holders). At the end of the event she had everything boxed up and organized. She also sent on a care package of memorabilia (menu cards, programs and printed napkins) in case we wanted them — which I did as I’m creating an album to accompany our photo book. She seriously thought of everything, her attention to detail is astounding, and her good natured heart is evident in everything she does.
I would suggest Marlene and her team of professionals to anyone who wants their dream wedding to go off without a hitch! THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES, MARLENE!!
